"What makes Big Joe So Big?"

"What makes Big Joe so big?  For sure he's a big talent.  Why does every venue in The Valley want Joe Fitz on their stage?  Because he's more than an entertainer, not just a pretty face with a harp in his mouth, not just a first class purveyor of the blues and roots tradition.  It's his soul, large, wide, real, and molasses sweet.  That's what attracts people.  He's one of those rare folks who you feel you are "in the presence of" and better off for it.  He isn't just singing for us.  He sings to the spirit that moves within him, this gentle man."      - Cafe Guide

Parker Brothers Drum Extravaganza

The Falcon, 1348 Route 9W , Marlboro, NY 12542

The Parker Brothers are a drum family like no other. We are proud to be part this "extravaganza" and provide an opening set with our music brother Eric Parker and special guest Brian Mitchell. "Chris Parker has played with Miles Davis, Stuff, Paul Butterfield’s Better Days, The Brecker Brothers and many more as well as Saturday Night Live and has his friends coming up from NYC - Gary Sieger and friends band..

‍Tony Parker has played with Joan Osbourne, Mary Travers and a slew of NYC funk bands. He’s well know locally for his cool soul bands he’s drumming in, for the Extravaganza he’s bringing the soul stirring and dancing inspired tunes with Abraham and the groove.

‍Eric Parker, has played with Joe Cocker, Steve Winwood, Bonnie Raitt, Ian Hunter and Lou reed and is very active in the Hudson Valley Studio Recording scene, He’s bringing his friend Brian Mitchell and Big Joe Fitz bands to start the evening off.

‍Nick Parker has played in Orleans, Todd Rundgren, Mood Ring, Robbie Dupree and for Happy Traum’s Instructional dvd’s. He also composed all the music for High Five video games in the last 5 years. He’s going to be a "free radical ion" going from band to band adding his percussion and drum spicing to everyone’s grooves. ‍

Robert Andrew Parker our Dad will hopefully be also playing drums and celebrating 96 years of life in art and music this night".
