Most times when you go to an "Acoustic Show" the musician (or musicians) will be playing an acoustic guitar with a pickup in it plugged into an amp or a PA....you'll be listening to "the sound of a 9 volt battery" as a wag once said. This show will truly be UNPLUGGED, no mics, amps, wires, nothing...just a couple of guitars and a big old bass fiddle and some heartfelt singing with an occasional harmonica thrown in from time to time.
